The Mindanao Inclusive Agriculture Development Project (MIADP) – Project Support Office (PSO) conducted a general meeting on May 4, 2026, to align key priorities and provide strategic direction in the subproject implementation.

Project Director Macario “Bong” Gonzaga emphasized the timely and prudent fund utilization. “We have to ensure that the intended subproject funds for the Indigenous Communities will really reach them, given that we are now approaching the midway point of the project implementation.”
He also underscored the efficient fuel and energy consumption, and proper manpower deployment “to maximize capabilities of our boots on the ground.”

Engineering teams were reminded to closely monitor construction progress, especially addressing negative slippage. Contractors were urged to strictly adhere to quality standards, with clear warnings on possible blacklisting for non-compliance. He also enjoined Local Government Units (LGUs) and Local Chief Executives (LCEs) to remain vigilant, cooperative, and aligned with the project’s reforms on accountability and transparency.

The meeting was attended by all MIADP personnel, including Deputy Project Director Noel T. Provido, who also presented current physical and financial accomplishments and targets of the Project.

In his closing message, Project Director Gonzaga called for the unwavering support and commitment of all personnel, emphasizing the importance of delivering results despite challenges.
“I encourage everyone to go the extra mile, especially in addressing delays, and to actively collaborate across components to fast-track implementation. As the project enters a critical phase, our team must work together with urgency and determination to ensure we achieve the development goals of MIADP,” he said.
