40-Hour Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Training is a mandatory training program required for all safety officers working on construction sites. The COSH training is designed to equip workers and safety officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify hazards, prevent accidents, and ensure a safe working environment in the construction industry. This training is in line with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations, particularly Department Order No. 13 (DO 13) on the Safety and Health Regulations for Construction Projects. The training is comprehensive and covers a wide range of construction safety topics
The training aims to equip project partners/implementers on the construction and occupational health and safety of the workers and beneficiaries during the implementation of MIADP subprojects. Consequently, a pool of experts from the Occupational Health Center will be hired as resource persons to undertake the proposed Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training.
