Through a Community Assembly spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture – Mindanao Inclusive Agriculture Development Project (DA MIADP) the Manobo Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities of CADT 116 unanimously move to endorse the Ancestral Domain Agricultural Implementation Framework (ADAIF) held on April 16 at San Miguel, Surigao del Sur.

In collaboration with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and the MIADP Project Support Office (PSO), the gathering seeks to formally integrate the Ancestral Domain Agricultural Implementation Framework (ADAIF) into the Ancestral Domain Sustainable Development and Protection Plan (ADSDPP) of CADT 116.

Planning and Social Preparation Officer Jessa Myr T. Balandra, along with Development Facilitator John Lester D. Sabayanan, led the presentation of the Ancestral Domain Agricultural Implementation Framework (ADAIF). Meanwhile, NCIP MIADP Focal Michael Tawede facilitated the signing of the tribal resolution. PSO Grievance Redress Officer Arnelito E. Culiao also presented the project’s Grievance Redress Mechanism.

Anchored on the Ancestral Domain Sustainable Development and Protection Plan (ADSDPP) of the participating Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs), the ADAIF outlines the priority infrastructure and facilities to be supported by the project, as well as the enterprise subprojects to be implemented by the Indigenous Peoples Organizations (IPOs). These interventions will be implemented through the AD Infra and AD Enterprise components, respectively.
