This four-day intensive training aims to enhance the technical capability of engineers and infrastructure planners in preparing comprehensive Detailed Engineering Designs (DED) and accurate Programs of Works (POW) for bridge projects. The training covers the fundamental principles, standards, and methodologies used in bridge design, including structural analysis, geotechnical considerations, hydrologic and hydraulic design, and material selection. Participants will also be guided through the step-by-step preparation of a DED package, including design drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction timelines.
